Dr. Ahmad M. AlAli, a Kuwaiti dentist, completed his dental education at The University of Manchester, earning a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) in 2017 and a Master of Science (MSc) in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 2018, under a merit scholarship from the Kuwait Ministry of Higher Education.

Beginning his career at the Kuwait Ministry of Health, Dr. AlAli honed his skills across specialized dental centers and hospitals during a one-year internship. In 2019, he enhanced his expertise in the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department at Al-Adan Hospital, serving the Al-Ahmadi Governance area.

Since January 2021, Dr. AlAli has been part of Kuwait University Faculty of Dentistry’s Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Discipline as a scholarship recipient, pursuing a residency and fellowship in anticipation of becoming a faculty member. His journey included a pivotal internship in 2021 at Virginia Commonwealth University Health System in the United States, where he worked under renowned Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons including Dr. A. Omar Abubaker, Dr. Robert A. Strauss, Dr. Shravan Renapurkar, and Dr. Daniel Hawkins. In early 2023, he joined McGill University’s Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department in Montreal, Canada, for the Certificate of Oral Surgery program as well as the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency program. Despite his short career life, Dr. AlAli has authored and co-authored more than several publications in various prestigious indexed journals.

From his early age, Dr. AlAli was an active member at Kuwait Science Club, where his passion and love of science and innovations developed and flourished. Dr. AlAli has numerous participations in local, regional, and international conferences, exhibitions, and courses as an official representative of the State of Kuwait. His passion towards innovations resulted in multiple registered patents at the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) and the European Union Patent Office. The first dentally related patented invention entitled “Dental Flossing Device”, which was an idea during his undergraduate dental training, ranked first in Kuwait Youth Excellence and Creativity Award that was honorary presented by H.H. the Late Amir of Kuwait Shaikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah in 2016. Whereas “Surgical Wire Twisting Tool” is recently patented in the USPTO, which is a surgical tool that can be used in the OMFS, trauma, orthopedics, and dental fields.
